1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all services provided by SSL VPS LTD, including domain registration, web hosting, SSL certificates, email hosting, and any related services.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use our services to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- Engage in phishing or social engineering attacks
- Host malware, viruses, or malicious software
- Operate cryptocurrency mining scripts
- Conduct DDoS attacks or participate in botnets
- Distribute pirated software or copyrighted material without authorization
- Host or distribute illegal content
- Exceed resource limits to the detriment of other users
3. Email Hosting Rules
If you use our email hosting services:
- Sending limit: 500 emails per hour
- No purchasing or using purchased email lists
- SPF and DKIM records must be configured for outbound email
- All email must comply with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations
4. Hosting Resource Limits
To ensure fair usage across all customers:
- CPU: Maximum 1 core sustained usage
- RAM: Limited to your plan allotment
- Processes exceeding limits for more than 10 minutes will be automatically terminated
- Shared hosting accounts exceeding 600,000 visits/month may be required to upgrade
5. Domain Registration Rules
Domain registrations must:
- Have accurate WHOIS information
- Not be used for bulk spam domain registrations
- Comply with ICANN policies and applicable registry terms
6. Enforcement
Violations are handled through a progressive enforcement process:
- Warning: Written notice describing the violation
- Suspension: Temporary suspension of affected services
- Termination: Permanent termination of services
Active abuse causing harm to others may result in immediate suspension without prior warning.
